Start Multi-Year Cooperation Cybersecurity Germany

InnovationQuarter is organising, in collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the Consulate General in Munich and the Hague Security Delta (HSD), a collective exploration for cybersecurity companies with an interest in the South German market. For the time being, this will take place physically from October 26-28, 2020. A preparatory online session will take place in the days of October 6-8 (during specific half-days).

Starting in Germany is an investment

If you want to do business in Southern Germany, you need patience. Germans go for certainty. A collective market entry increases your visibility in Germany and this can bring you great benefits. One gets a foot in the door much more quickly when performing jointly abroad. And working together with other companies in the sector and the Dutch government can make you stronger. For this reason, RVO, together with InnovationQuarter, The Hague Security Delta and the Dutch Consulate General in Munich, is developing a 3-year action plan (Partners for International Business) on cybersecurity towards Germany. The hybrid cybersecurity mission serves as the start of this plan and is for cybersecurity companies that want to explore the Southern German market, do business there and / or look for Southern German business partners.

A Hybrid Activity

The multi-year programming will kick off in the form of a hybrid trade mission. This means that this activity includes both digital and physical program components. The idea was to visit the major IT fair it-sa 2020 in Nürnberg. In view of the developments regarding COVID-19, this fair has been converted into a digital activity, the it-sa 365. This digital part will remain part of the program, and will mainly serve as preparation for the physical journey 2 weeks later. In outline, the program is as follows:

CollectiveVisits to knowledge institutions, companies and cluster organizations;Exploration of substantive collaboration;Network moments with local clusters and relevant stakeholders. IndividualPreparation by participating in it-sa 365 on half-days from 6-8 October. Offers the possibility of online networking, listening to key-note speakers, and more;Facilitation of physical follow-up of any matches made during the online it-sa 365.

In the event of a negative travel advice to Germany in the autumn, we will arrange this activity entirely digitally.
