The programme will examine the latest changes in overall cybersecurity in light of the pandemic and the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.

The presenters will speak about some criminal methods that have evolved in an attempt to exploit the vulnerabilities of personal lives and commerce in a time of uncertainty. They will also look into tactics to prevent and respond to phishing attacks.

In addition, a discussion will be held to discuss the tools needed to effectively combat acts of cybercrime – specifically phishing-related attacks – and how to detect and stop them.

A Q&A panel will follow the presentations.

Speakers:

  • Ifigeneia Lella, Cybersecurity Officer, ENISA
  • Eleni Tsekmezoglou, Seconded National Expert, ENISA
  • Foy Shiver, Deputy Secretary-General, APWG
