In order for the 7500 consultants in Deloitte Netherlands to be able to help their clients, the 160 colleagues of Deloitte IT deliver a robust and secure IT infrastructure. You will be part of the internal cybersecurity team of Deloitte IT, which sets the boundaries for how we secure information within Deloitte Netherlands and responding to any threats. You’ll also be part of the Deloitte Global community and particularly frequently work together with colleagues in other European countries, the USA and India. Your main office will be the Amsterdam Cyber Centre, although working from home or other offices is possible.

This is how

This is a junior role in which you can expect to grow and assume additional tasks over time. Here are some areas in which we would like your support:

  • Driving penetration testing completion. Performing frequent penetration tests on the applications that we buy/develop/use is an important tool in helping us ensure they are secure. You would maintain an overview of which applications need penetration testing when, support in the timely resolution of the findings and engage with local and international business & IT stakeholders to get results.
  • Supporting application approval. Our consultants are always on the look-out for the newest tools so they can deliver the best value to our clients. We must however check that these tools are secure, otherwise we risk leaking client data. We need your help in managing and documenting the approval steps and inputs of this process, so we can get these tools to our consultants as quickly as possible.
  • Resolving security incidents. Sometimes something unexpected happens. A new critical vulnerability is found in an application or a user clicks a link in a phishing email. We need to respond quickly to limit the impact of the event and understand what has happened. We have talented people in our team who manage and execute this process, but they could use your help in performing and documenting the required actions and steps as fast as possible.

As this is a junior role we will provide you with training and coaching for these tasks, so do not let a lack of previous experience with these exact same tasks stop you from applying.



You will share your expertise with about 220 other colleagues in the IT team that is part of Deloitte Support. Our team focuses on hosting information and communication technologies, online services, IT security, application management and development, access, and audiovisual systems from our own data center.

What you offer

We are looking for a junior member of staff for our cybersecurity team with particular strengths in managing processes, structuring information, reporting and communication skills. Previous experience in cybersecurity and/or IT, or at least a passion for cybersecurity are appreciated. As this is a function with growth potential, we are looking for someone eager to develop themselves and be coached. A good grasp of English is a must, Dutch in addition is a plus. We prefer for you to live in the Netherlands to really be able to become part of our team. Previous experiences with serving customers, chasing people on delivery of actions, managing confidential information, and ServiceNow, Azure or cybersecurity frameworks like ISO27001 & OWASP will be considered a plus.
