What does the work entail?

  • Run daytime shifts in our 24/7 SOC operation (on average 8 hours/week);
  • Analyze and correlate security incidents reported by our Cyber Threat Management platform;
  • Communicate relevant findings to our customers and advise them on the best course of action;
  • Engage in cyber threat hunting activities and prepare security briefings;
  • Provide 1st line support to customers working with our platform;
  • Research known and new cyber threats.

What are the requirements?

You are currently enrolled in a relevant computer science or cyber security bachelor or master program. You will qualify for this selection round of you are:

  • At least studying until mid-2020.

Candidates from other bachelor/master programs are not excluded, but a strong link to IT and security is a must.

Do you want to become a Part-time SOC Security Analyst?

First and foremost this is a part-time position where you gain work experience complimentary to your studies. To enroll into the SOC analyst program you need to sign up by sending your resume and motivation letter to: vacatures[at] For you to be part of the SOC analyst team you will go through a selection procedure. This involves an assessment focused on knowledge, skills, motivation and attitude. The assessment can result in multiple candidate being selected to start in our Security Operations Center (we are not organizing a competition to determine who will be ‘the last man standing’). The technical aspect of the selection procedure will be a fairly basic knowledge test, and should not scare off well versed IT-security students. Deadline for application:


The upcoming SOC-selection Night will be held on Thursday the 26th of September 2019. The program will start at 18:00 and will end around 20:30. Food and drinks will be provided!

Expected starting date: for the new analysts will be January 2020.
