What exactly will you do?
The Programme Director is the educational manager of the Law degree programme. The Programme Director makes it possible for lecturers to perform at their best and inspires, facilitates and enhances the personal leadership skills of all employees. Responsible for the quality of the education and ensuring the right curriculum. Well equipped to manage highly educated (potential) professionals. In terms of content, the Programme Director contributes from a strategic point of view on how to anticipate on new developments for the Law degree programme(s) of that faculty. Acting as a figurehead of the degree programme in the professional judicial field and towards other collaboration partners. Effectively organizing all education processes and operational management. The Programme Director is a member of the Management Team of the Faculty of Public Management, Law and Safety.

The Law programme has a young, vivid and ambitious team with 40 faculty members, 2 team leaders. It is currently led by an acting programme director. The team is built by very international and cross-cultural (16 different nationalities) highbrow law professionals who want to offer students an outstanding international law programme. The team welcomes an internationally orientated programme director who takes the lead in attaining the next best level of higher education and who contributes to an even better teamwork with our lecturers and colleagues of the Dutch Law programme (HBO-Rechten).

The International and European Law Bachelor Programme of The Hague University (THU) is a 4-year LL.B. programme, aimed at training students in the fields of International and European law, with a strong emphasis on practical legal skills. The Programme, which is licensed and accredited by the Dutch Government, is fast-growing with currently around 1000 students of diverse international backgrounds. The selection process consists of a presentation, online assessment, and meeting with the selection and advisory committee. If you are invited to the interview of 23 March 2017, you will be sent a presentation assignment together with the invitation, the request to submit a self-reflection and portfolio, and a link to the online assessment.
The intention is to hold the interviews on 9 March, 23 March and 30 March 2017.
