About us

In the Netherlands, where 2100 employees are based, we are located in four cities: Huizen, Delft, Eindhoven and Hengelo (HQ). Together with an extensive ecosystem of knowledge partners, customers and suppliers, we work on radars for naval vessels, cyber security solutions, transportation systems, communication equipment for land forces, cryogenic cooling solutions and research & development for radar tech (in collaboration with TU Delft).

Information about the department

The tracking team is part of the Application Engineering department. This department is responsible for delivering software applications for processing radar video into useful data to the user/operator of the radar system. The main goal is creating realistic targets from detected radar hits, but also interaction with the operator, different kinds of filtering and many other features are part of the Tracking software. The tracking team consists of 7 software engineers.

About the assignment

The Tracking software is constantly tested by our own Integration, Verification and Validation (IVV) environment to ensure a stable and quality product. Our current IVV environment is outdated and not user-friendly. The goal of this assignment is to implement and adapt an existing test solution to fill the needs of our Tracking IVV environment.

The new environment will be able to simulate different target types like helicopters and jet fighters, along with command & control signals that are passed to the Tracking application. You’ll be working alongside the Tracking team to develop our new testing environment.

Affinity

Affinity with C/C++ and Python. Experience with Scrum, Maven, Git and/or CMake is a plus.
