Job description
Here at Robin, we're passionate and dynamic; driven and forward-thinking. As an official Great Place to Work, we empower and inspire people to do their best work on their own terms.

And we innovate. Every. Single. Day.

We're proud of what we do, but we also know that our success relies on you — the talented, bright and independent professionals who bring passion to your work each morning.

So, what do you think - are you a Robin?

Do you have what it takes to be our Technical Sales Engineer?

Read on if you think you do!

How you'll answer, "So what do you do?"

"I prepare and manage all customer product demo's."

Mmmm. Not bad.

Here's what a Robin would say:

"I'm one of the many friendly and knowledgeable faces of the company. I get to show our awesome systems in their finest light - I believe in our product and know it inside and out. It's my job to make believers out of customers and partners, too."

Nice!

Job requirements
Day-to-day, here's what you'll really do:

  • Efficient and effective planning, deployment, operation, and break-down of field demos, in close cooperation with the sales team;
  • Based on your experience using the various radar systems, you'll advise production and R&D on potential system improvements (think quality and user experience);
  • Participation in customer visits and other sales and marketing events;
  • The administration, and especially the necessary reporting, related to the tests and demos;
  • Client facing, you will represent Robin Radar Systems to your best ability;

As Technical Sales Engineer you’ll be part of the Sales Team, which consists of Business Development Managers and Account Managers. You all report to the Sales Director who is there to support and guide you.

Sound good? Already itching to apply?

Wonderful!

But slow down a sec, there's a little more.

What we're after:

  • We expect you to have a technical education at HBO level in electrical- or mechanical engineering;
  • You have relevant work experience in a technical role;
  • You speak Dutch and English fluently;
  • You can work independently without supervision, and you show initiative in everything you do;
  • You have great communication skills. This position is demanding in that it requires super technical skills, combined with an ability to think from a sales and marketing perspective;
  • A driving licence (B) is a must. A trailer licence (BE) will earn you personal praise and glory!
  • You live in The Netherlands within commuting distance to The Hague.

And of course, you should identify with our core values: trust, responsibility & transparency.

So, what do you say? Excited? Were you nodding all the way down here?
Then it's time to hit apply.
