Unique collaboration between TU/e and TiU

Our master’s program in Data Science & Entrepreneurship is a unique collaborative venture between Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and Tilburg University (TiU) that is designed to produce data science professionals with excellent business skills. The program equips you with the skills you need in order to use data science to develop innovative, value-adding and sustainable activities for all sorts of businesses, from large, established corporations to budding start-ups. You’ll learn how to translate imaginative, data-driven ideas into concrete project requirements, develop technological solutions, launch a business venture and assess its effectiveness.

The master’s program in Data Science & Entrepreneurship is based in the dynamic Marienburg campus in the vibrant Dutch city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

 

Study program and curriculum

The two-year program focuses on the tools and skills that you need in order to analyze data used by today’s businesses and turn this into meaningful insights. You’ll acquire the skills and gain the experience you need to evolve into a well-rounded data scientist. You’ll learn by using real business data and case studies based on data-driven issues.

You’ll benefit from close collaboration between TiU and TU/e, attending classes with leading researchers from across the full spectrum of data science – ranging from machine learning and information retrieval to human computer interaction and large-scale data management.

  • EER Students: 1 July, 2022
  • Dutch Students: 1 August, 2022

Premaster’s Program

We offer a half-year pre-master’s program worth 30 ECTS credits by way of preparation for the master’s program in Data Science & Entrepreneurship. This preparatory program is intended for those students who have sufficient knowledge of statistics and mathematics, but who are not immediately eligible for the master’s program itself.

 

Scholarships

The JADS JMJ Scholarship is offered by the Sisters of the Society of Jesus Mary Joseph (JMJ), a Congregation founded by Rev.Fr. Mathias Wolff S.J in the 19th century, located in the Netherlands.

This Scholarship is intended for international students from outside the EU/EEA area who want to pursue the Master Data Science and Entrepreneurship (Joint degree) at the Jheronimus Academy of Data Science (JADS).
