Sweden and The Netherlands have a lot in common. Both countries are digitalising rapidly and dedicated to making this process safe with a proper focus on cybersecurity. In particular, information security is becoming increasingly prioritised by the Swedish public sector (local, regional, and state). GDPR compliance has been an important topic in Sweden, as it brings challenges to many organizations but also creates opportunities for private companies with solutions in privacy and data protection. In this round table, we would like to both kick-start a collaboration on cybersecurity between the two countries, as well as zoom in on the topic of security and privacy awareness in the public sector. This round table will thereby:
Topics will be discussed such as differences in GDPR practices, compliance success stories, but also highlight common challenges and thereby opportunities for the Dutch and Swedish cybersecurity sectors to collaborate.
