This Cyber Range course provides an introduction to secure network switching through guided, hands-on configuration of Cisco IOS-based switches. Participants learn to design, implement, and secure Layer 2 environments following CIS and DISA STIG recommendations.
The exercises combine networking fundamentals with applied cybersecurity controls to ensure network resilience. Learners simulate common network attacks (e.g., rogue DHCP, MAC spoofing) and deploy corresponding countermeasures.
This training is part of the activities of the CADMUS Project, funded through the Digital Europe Programme, which aims to address the critical shortage of cybersecurity professionals across Europe.
