8 March is International Women's Day and that is why All the Cyber ​​Ladies and the municipality of The Hague are organising a meet-up in collaboration with Women4Cyber ​​and Security Delta. The network meeting will take place on 7 March and is especially for women (and men!) who work in cyber security or are following an IT/Cyber Security study.

It will be a fun networking event with inspiring speakers, networking opportunities and drinks. So join us on 7 March: expand your network and listen to stories from other professionals active in the world of Cyber Security. Let's join forces for a more inclusive and diverse Cyber Security community.

The tour to the Digital Forensics Lab of the Leiden University of Applied Sciences will start on 16.15h. There are limited spaces available for this unique look behind the scenes.

Theme of the plenary programme of the Cyber Ladies meet-up is: Talent Development.

Why are we organising this event?

Did you know:

• Only 24% of employees in the IT sector are women? And in the cyber security industry this percentage is even lower, around 11% worldwide.
• The number of women in cybersecurity has not increased significantly in recent years, despite the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals.
• Women are underrepresented in cyber security technical roles, while research shows that diversity in teams increases innovation and creativity.

That is why we, as female professionals in this sector, want to come together to share experiences, inspire each other and enter into dialogue about the challenges and opportunities in our field. Everyone is very welcome. This meeting is open to men and women.

8 maart is het Internationale Vrouwendag en daarom organiseren All the Cyber Ladies en de gemeente Den Haag i.s.m. Women4Cyber en Security Delta op 7 maart een netwerkbijeenkomst en borrel, speciaal voor vrouwen (en mannen!) die werkzaam zijn in cyber security of een IT/cyber security studie volgen.

Het wordt een gezellig netwerkevent met inspirerende sprekers, netwerkmogelijkheden en een borrel. Dus kom 7 maart: breid je netwerk uit en luister naar verhalen van andere professionals die actief zijn in de wereld van cyber security. Laten we samen de handen ineenslaan voor een meer inclusieve en diverse cyber security-gemeenschap.

Waarom organiseren we dit event?

Wist je dat:

Daarom willen wij, als vrouwelijke professionals in deze sector, samenkomen om ervaringen te delen, elkaar te inspireren en de dialoog aan te gaan over de uitdagingen en kansen in ons vakgebied. Iedereen is van harte welkom. Deze bijeenkomst is open voor mannen en vrouwen.
