ING Tech Infra – Global IT Operations

As a DevOps Engineer you will work on our next-gen Monitoring Data Pipeline. Depending in which squad (collection, processing or presenting layer) the team is responsible for designing, developing, delivering, testing and maintaining your service and/or product. As a true DevOps team predictability and transparency are very important for everything we do. The team is end-to-end responsible for delivering a stable and fit-for-purpose solution.

 

We are looking for you:

You use and implement automation, implement continuous integration and continuous delivery, automated testing and configuration management. Terms like ‘like horizontal scalable’, ‘loosely coupled’ and ‘microservices’ are known elements for you. You’re always looking to improve the services to keep it up & running and aware of what the market is doing to see where we can improve even further.

 

Your profile meets:

  • Higher professional educational study, preferably in (information) technology.
  • You are experienced in maintaining Linux based servers and containers.
  • Scripting/Programming skills in bash, Python, Go are a plus.
  • Skills in using of CD/CI pipeline applications and tools (e.g. Gitlab, Ansible, Azure DevOps)
  • You are experienced in explaining complicated analysis to a non-technical audience with your storytelling skills.
  • You have good oral and written communication skills at technical and business level.
  • Experience in production-grade and software development in an enterprise
    environment
  • Worked in secure environments – knows how to enforce and work with risk and security policies
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • You have a positive can-do mindset.
