We are currently looking for a Chapter Lead for our integration chapter within Data Foundation. This person will have the mission to develop and lead the data integration platform. 

 

The Chapter Lead will play a key role in the development of the chapter especially ensuring that the platform is built with the best and up to date technology. Next to the hands-on related work he/she will be responsible for the software engineers in the chapter, from coaching and professional development to hiring and staffing.

In terms of hard skills:

  • Bachelor and Master degree diploma in Engineering or related fields
  • Hands-on experience with Python development
  • Hands-on experience building pipelines for CI/CD
  • Hands-on experience on data manipulation and transformation, e.g., SQL
  • Hands-on experience managing and further developing distributed systems and clusters for batch and streaming data
  • Hands on experience with development and deployment to cloud platforms
  • Hands-on experience with containers, e.g., Docker
  • Solid experience on software architecture, especially on design of services and API’s 
  • Experience leading integration projects from conception to deployment
  • Both a deep and a global understanding of banking and of bank products
  • Hands on experience in solving incidents and improving the software development standards
