The role
Digitization and data-driven innovation are booming. Our specialized team of legal privacy consultants grows, following these developments. As a senior privacy consultant you are involved in independently and/or in a team managing complex issues and advisory to customers (at C-level). Your activities include program management and strategic advice. Possibly in collaboration with colleagues from public affairs and other relevant stakeholders. You are the project lead of multiple projects and transferring knowledge to your colleagues, comes naturally to you.
Whether it concerns mitigating the impact of Schrems-II for a multinational, setting up a government-wide privacy governance program for a ministry, or mapping the legal issues and necessary measures when entering the metaverse via an innovative e-commerce platform; you are the expert from Considerati.
You make a concrete contribution to the compliance and business of our client. Because you respond well to their needs with your knowledge and experience, you are a real business partner. You are a problem solver and therefore indispensable in identifying and converting new opportunities to expand the business. We often advise decision-makers within the customer organization on a strategic level. The impact you have makes the work challenging and our added value great.
Your qualities
What are we looking for in our senior colleague? The senior privacy consultant is intrinsically motivated to be at the forefront of the profession. You have an eye for detail and you communicate well. You are practical, with the drive to6 always deliver high quality to your customers and serve them in the best possible way. You have the experience or ambition to lead projects and coach colleagues.
In addition, you have:
• University level Dutch Law
• 5 years+ relevant work experience gained in the legal profession, consultancy, business or government
• Demonstrated knowledge of privacy law, IT (contract) law, and/or information security
• Excellent command of the English language in speech and writing
• Used to working in a project context
• Education such as Grotius or VPR-A, and/or certificates such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPP/US are a plus
