Position Summary
The Account Executive is a quota-carrying role focusing on the mid-market and will rely on telephone and web-based interactions to engage prospects and customers within a defined geographical territory. 
The Account Sales Executive manages the full sales cycle to organizations with IT security needs. In this role, you’ll identify prospects, understand their challenges, and highlight how Thycotic solutions will enhance and simplify their IT security efforts.  Work with clients directly and through our channel partners to close deals and get our award-winning product suite into the hands of IT Admins across the identified region!
Based remotely, with occasional travel (10%), this position requires a motivated self-starter who will be responsible for all net new sales in the Mid Market. This role will report to the Mid Market Sales Manager.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and work to exceed set monthly and quarterly sales targets, owning and managing your own pipeline to successful closure.
  • Find, cultivate and close deals! Lead Thycotic sales efforts within assigned territory, ranging from initial lead generation, qualification calls through the sales process to closing business.
  • Daily callout activities to aid lead generation, pipeline build, upsell and cross-sell activities and reactivation of former customers
  • Follow up on new opportunities by phone and support throughout sales cycle using Salesforce pipeline and lead management 
  • Advance product evaluation and selection process through diligent and timely follow up with your opportunity pipeline
  • Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly pipeline.
  • Support Channel Sales Management and Channel Partners with callout activities including opportunity follow up, quoting and discount queries
  • Provide customer service as and when needed to System Integrators and Value-Added Resellers
  • Deliver basic product demonstrations via webinar, price and production information to prospects
  • Attend weekly pipeline and forecast meetings with management 
  • Never stop learning! Constantly stay current with industry changes and trends and build your expertise in Cybersecurity. 


Skills & Requirements

  • Speak fluently English and another European language
  • At least 6 months relevant IT/software selling and winning sales experience
  • Proficiency with high volume prospecting and creating net new business via phone and email.
  • Strong knowledge of Channel sales model and able to identify how Thycotic products align to reseller and customer requirements.
  • Consultative selling skills
  • Ability and experience to communicate effectively to engage clients in discussions that result in new business
  • Ability to uncover, identify and leverage published and internal customer information.
  • Proven top-notch written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Technological savvy and ability to quickly learn new concepts. 
  • Organized, self-motivated, goal-oriented and metrics-driven.
  • Experience using Salesforce is a plus.
