Looking to join a dynamic and innovative cybersecurity startup? At Modat, we have just launched our premier product: Modat Magnify. Our mission is to empower both offensive and defensive security teams, researchers and professionals with the contextual data and tools they need to stay ahead of threats. With Modat Magnify, we are giving them online access to the world’s largest ‘Device DNA’ dataset, that catalogues the essential attributes of each internet-connected device to create a unique profile. 
 
Based on Modat Magnify, we are also offering contextualized datasets and custom-made scans to our target enterprise audience that have more robust and varying needs. This includes: specialized security teams, government organizations and cybersecurity vendors (read more here: https://www.modat.io/enterprise). We are looking for a driven Business Development Associate to support our founder team to help turn the many opportunities we see in this market into value-add customers.

THE ROLE   

  • Business Development: Help to identify and target potential clients in the cybersecurity space, focusing on both offensive and defensive security teams 
  • Sales Strategy: Help to develop and execute (new) effective sales strategies  
  • Partner and Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations 
  • Process: Run the process of turning opportunities into contracts, communicating with prospects, maintaining CRM 
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our services and data products, and effectively communicate their value propositions to clients 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align business development efforts with overall business objectives 
   

ABOUT YOU 

  • Experience: Keen interest in cybersecurity, business development and sales 
  • Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Motivation: Self-driven and results-oriented with a passion for technology and innovation. Must have a positive growth mindset 
  • Diligence: Persistent and precise in running business development processes 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred or relevant work experience
