About the role 

The Customer Success Managers (CSM) at Cisco are a close-knit international team driven by best-in-class post-sales consultancy and adoption. As a CSM, you will be responsible for driving adoption of the Cisco Collaboration solution within the greater European Market. You will identify growth opportunities to expand Cisco’s footprint while demonstrating the value and benefit of these results to your customers. Key to success are the cross-functional relationships that you will develop and maintain within Cisco, with our Partners and with various other crucial stakeholders. Executing against and reporting on Customer Success metrics, you are constantly looking to demonstrate value of the Cisco Collaboration solution to your customers. Most importantly, we drive one another forward within the Customer Success team. Sharing best practices with your peers and Cisco colleagues, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that are increasingly more critical to Cisco’s vision and strategy.

 

In this role you can be based in Amsterdam or North Holland.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Own the complete customer lifecycle of onboarding, adoption, expansion and renewal. Note: we are strategic to the renewal, but we do not transact renewals. 
  • Strive to continually drive faster “time to value” and improve overall experience for our customers
  • Understand customer's objectives and how they translate to outcomes
  • Ensure proper delivery, onboarding and adoption of products and services, conduct ongoing operational reviews
  • Identify opportunities for upsell and cross sell
  • Engage all priority customers to strengthen relationships, conduct gap analysis, report on usage and lead value driven discussions
  • Partner with customer to advise on best practices
  • Drive revenue growth through adoption and upsell/cross-sell

Who You Are

The successful candidate will have a material impact on how our customers value their investment with Cisco by leveraging their investment to achieve their business outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for continuous improvement of processes, while identifying key adoption triggers and call to actions or plays. The candidate will work collaboratively with the business unit as well as effectively communicating with executive customer line of business contacts.

  • Opportunities on the EMEA CS team exist for both early in career CSMs as well as for experienced professionals. 
  • Min. 3 years of experience in consultative customer facing role, ideally within Tech or SaaS based company
  • Fluent in English and in one of the following languages: German, Dutch, Spanish or French
  • Strategic thinker, account management, and strong commitment to customer success
  • Proven team player and willingness to work closely with cross-functional partners
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment to meet evolving business requirements – a self-starter!
