For the QA team of the Naval-NL business unit,we are in search for a:

                                  Quality Assurance Manager

About the job
As a QAM, you contribute to bids, projects and products through assuring the quality thereof and coaching/supporting the relevant operational teams in execution of their tasks in line with relevant processes/governance, risk and opportunity management and problem solving. In doing so, you always keep in mind the perspective of the customer and ensure that the bid/project/product meets his/her technical and non-technical requirements and expectations. As QAM, you have an independent role and will report to both bid/project/product and senior management on the operational performance of the teams your are involved in.

As QAM supporting major new product developments, you will be involved with multiple internal stakeholders (the product organisation, engineering department, project management etc.) as well as external stakeholders (the customer incl. Government Quality Assurance Representatives – GQAR - , suppliers and subcontractors etc.). You will work together closely with the project and product managers, supporting them in realizing the product development in terms of time, budget and quality. The total scope of your portfolio depends on the demand from the organisation and the allocation of resources within the QA team, thereby aiming for both continuity and multi employability as well as the personal development of the QAM’s. The QA team is organized along the product segments of Naval-NL, with a dedicated QA team per segment (mission solutions and Combat Management Systems – CMS -, radar, fire control, aerospace, services). In addition to the above, you may be involved in (transverse) problem solving and Root Cause Analysis (RCA), audits, assessments and other improvement initiatives. Training in IQ tools and practices will explicitly be part of your onboarding program and personal development. This job provides you with the opportunity to boost and broaden your professional development. In three to five years, you will gain thorough knowledge of our Naval domain and products, our organisation and our processes. You will strengthen your risk management, problem solving and improvement skills, and quickly expand your network. This job can serve as a stepping stone towards a (more senior) position within any one of our operational or staff departments.
