To turn Infra NL into a true IT infrastructure provider we change our purpose towards delivering reliable IT infrastructure services, including tooling to enable our customers to take responsibility for development and day-to-day operations on their own instances. We want to rapidly improve the maturity of the new organisation including its Agile practices.

What’s a Risk & Security Engineer / Consultant within ING Infra?

Together with your squad, you co-author a cohesive Security & Risk Strategy, a roadmap (schedule, cost, effort, benefit model) for strategy implementation and you’re responsible for delivering risk awareness throughout INFRA. You’re familiar with all stacks that INFRA delivers and you used to be an Engineer so you can participate in all stack discussions and drive the integration of the DevOps way of working. If possible you also automate activities within your own squad.

Your main focus will be on:

• Providing support, explanations and workshops custom build to fit the needs of the Infra squads
• Automate and simplify all required Risk Controls for Infra Services
• Write clear user stories that are understood by the entire squad and are derived from consumer needs
• Consistent and good participation in DevOps rituals (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospective)
• Define quality standards, Definition of Ready ('DoR') and 'Definition of Done' ('DoD')
• Perform root cause analysis of Security & Risk events

You “backpack” should contain

• Professional and intellectual IT skills at university level - at least a bachelor's degree
• Extensive experience in both engineering and security/risk area, preferably in Agile teams as a DevOps Engineer
• Track record of consulting/advising
• Track record of delivering IT products to consumers
• Certification and / or proven skills in Risk & Security (such as CISSP, CEH, PMI-RMP or MoR)
• Excellent oral and written command of Dutch and English
