Your challenges

  • Conducting IT risk assessments and assessing the design, implementation and functionality of IT controls within diverse IT system applications, bolstering the security of our clients' digital assets.
  • Supporting Internal Audit departments with your IT knowledge and experience.
  • Evaluating the dependability, continuity, and protection of IT environment, guaranteeing the smooth and secure operation of our clients' organisation.
  • Identifying and effectively prepare IT findings and improvement opportunities for our clients' management, contributing to their success and growth.
  • Remaining current with the latest tech trends, positioning our team and clients at the forefront of technological progress.
  • Planning and executing IT Risk engagements to uphold the utmost standards of precision and quality.

This is what you bring

  • Completed university master's degree or a bachelor (with the ambition to complete a master's degree)
  • An analytical, critical and curious view
  • Affinity with IT, Risk Management and Audit
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • An absolute team player
  • Proficient in the English (Dutch is a plus)
  • Equivalent IT certifications preferred (e.g. RE, CISA, CISM)

What will you do in this position?

As a Senior Consultant, you will have direct client interaction, set the course, monitor it, and oversee one or more Consultants. In addition to project work, you will contribute to the team's development. You will write proposals to secure new projects and participate in training to enhance your knowledge and advisory skills. You will also play a crucial internal role as a mentor and coach for junior colleagues.

 

You'll be part of an enthusiastic and dynamic team of young professionals, supporting and strengthening both the second and third lines of defense. Together with your team, you'll guide clients in improving the quality and control of IT risks and IT systems, ensuring the effectiveness of risk management strategies. As a consultant, you'll assess the quality and reliability of IT systems, IT processes, and all the data processed by these systems throughout the entire lifecycle of an IT system. Furthermore you will also assist in improving IT Asset Management practices at our clients.

 

You'll work with multiple clients in a week and collaborate with various teams continually, contributing to the robustness of the risk management framework of our clients.
