As the market for Threat Intelligence is growing and new opportunities arise, we are investing to broaden and strengthen our intelligence capabilities. Our Intelligence business line delivers high-end intelligence products both to internal and external customers. The business line has a commercial intelligence proposition that we make available to our customers, but we also supply internal business lines with intelligence for our threat detection & emergency response services and support these business lines wherever possible with intelligence related activities.

The position

As our Intelligence Advisor you’ll have a vital role in providing customers and colleagues with an up-to-date overview as well as significant insights into how the threat landscape is evolving. Understand and analyze the threat landscape by following key intelligence sources. You will also have to describe to customers how our intelligence allows them to mitigate the threats on a strategic and tactical level.

Your role and activities

• Understand and analyze the threat landscape by following key intelligence sources;
• Summarize the threat landscape and mitigation strategies into tactical and strategical reports;
• Create threat intelligence input for world class presentations about threat intelligence and occasionally on conferences like RSA & Blackhat;
• Write and co-write reports, blogs, newsletters etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise customers, in writing as well as verbally, on how they can use our cyber threat intelligence to have a contextual overview of the threat landscape and use it as a basis for risk management;
• Present our ability to deliver state of the art intelligence to new customers in our Proof Of Concepts (POC) processes;
• Work with different departments within Fox-IT and NCC Group to discuss past, current and future threat landscape;
• Present to customers on a management level on how our threat intelligence proposition addresses the threat landscape and translates into business benefits.

You are an excellent strategical and tactical analyst with the ability to present the outcome in an inspiring way. You’ve gained experience in most of the activities mentioned above in your previous position(s) like analyst, pre sales, consultancy, marketing, etc. Experience in cybercrime, threat intelligence, OSINT, etc.  is obviously a big advantage, we are also interested in candidates with experience in more traditional fields of intelligence e.g. military, cyber security banking/financial institution.

In addition you

• Completed education at higher vocational or university level;
• Preferably 3-5 years of experience in the industry;
• Speak English fluently;
• Willing to work in our ‘head quarter’ located in Delft, the Netherlands;
• Have no problems with the screenings/background check every employee has to undertake.
