Job description

Become part of one of Europe’s fastest growing enterprise application security platforms empowered by the world’s best ethical hackers. At Zerocopter we have a client portfolio that includes the largest airlines, hardware, retail and e-commerce companies in the world. We have achieved consistent growth and our breakthrough future plans make Zerocopter a great place to boost your career.

In your role you will become part of our development team and work with us on improvement and further development of the Zerocopter-platform that provides bug bounty and coordinated vulnerability disclosure programs, automated scanners and dedicated security checks.

Our team including software engineers and security researchers has been working remote for years, so we already know how to play this game. You won't feel left out if you work from home! We prefer candidates living in the Netherlands, however, so you are able to join your colleagues regularly in our beautiful office in Amsterdam.

Our tech stack

  • Ruby on Rails (both latest stable, no digging in Rails 2.3)

  • Vue.js

  • Postgres, Redis, Memcached, Heroku + additional infrastructure on AWS

What we offer

  • Being a part of a great team in one of the fastest growing tech industries

  • Long-term involvement starting with a 6-month contract

  • A lovely modern office

  • Competitive salary

  • Travel expenses covered

  • A phone and a laptop to do your job successfully

  • Training and conference arrangements

  • 10 extra days off on top of the basic 20 per year

Requirements

Tech requirements

  • Good understanding of securing Ruby on Rails applications

  • Familiarity with OWASP top 10

  • Experience running a production app with distributed services

  • Experience with Git, Github, code review process and continuous integration

  • Some experience with frontend JS

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with AWS and Ansible

  • Bonus points if you've ever done a security audit on a Ruby gem

Other requirements

  • Hacker mindset

  • Strong analytical and data management skills (you are able to interpret and analyze data as well as present the results in a clear way)

  • Being attentive to daily operations, system status, and production incidents

  • Proficient English (both verbal and written)

We are looking for candidates who already have an EU work permit.
