Java Application Developer

As a Java Application Developer, you will:

• Contribute to the further development and modernization of Java-based applications.
• Develop high-quality code and support application integration activities.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver successful solutions.
• Help automate DevOps processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work alongside other DevOps teams to share knowledge and deliver the best possible outcomes.
• Contribute to Agile ways of working and support a culture of collaboration and innovation.

The team

You will become part of a collaborative DevOps team focused on modernizing applications and supporting our clients on their cloud transformation journey.

Where you'll work

This is a hybrid role, centrally located in the Netherlands, with 1 to 2 days per week on-site with the client.

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with collaboration and continuous learning.

You bring at least 4 years of experience with technologies such as:

• Java
• Spring Boot
• Kubernetes
• OpenShift
• API Integration
• Front-end technologies (for example Angular or React)
• Excellent proficiency in both Dutch and English

Your DevOps experience includes

• Scrum/Agile
• DevOps
• CI/CD
• Automated testing

You are also interested in continuing to grow your skills and expanding your knowledge, for instance in Kotlin and/or Quarkus.
