Description:

In this role as an Account Manager you will be responsible for maintaining, growing and selling the Everbridge Critical Event Managed Platform into a governmental and eventually to enterprise customers. As Account Manager, you will meet, interact and advise customers consistently as this is a sales role selling into an existing customer base. On top of this you will grow the market via new sales in the given segments.

 

About the Team:

Everbridge’s Account management team is an extremely collaborative, results-driven, high performing team that is responsible for customer satisfaction, growth of the current customer base and extending activities to add to the net new business, and therefore the revenue engine of the company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of your clients, domain knowledge, products, challenges and competitors.
  • Prospect and identify new opportunities within the customer base to build and maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and sell to multiple buyers within an organization.
  • Implement a consultative, solution selling, upselling, methodology.
  • Ability to develop, grow and close sales.
  • Work with Marketing and Business Development to execute campaigns to top buyers.
  • Exceed assigned sales objectives and quarterly bookings quotas.
  • Accurately manage and forecast your business using SF.com.

Required skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software sales, active account management and selling into governmental and complex accounts.
  • Experience in a field-based sales role selling a SaaS solution into governmental and enterprise customers.
  • Product or solution experience selling into Software, IT Ops, SW Development, Communications, Compliance, Security, IT Recruiting, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, HR, Facilities Management, Hardware or IT Services buyers.
  • Experienced in conducting product demos.
  • Strong hunting, prospecting, and cold calling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Must have a verifiable history of meeting or exceeding given quotas.
  • Coming from or having a network within the governmental emergency response environment is an advantage.
