Managing Director - Sectra Communications Netherlands

Sectra Communications, part of Sectra group, is a leading provider of secure communication solutions since 1978. We have our roots in Sweden and the Netherlands is our second home market where we are well established since more than 20 years. We offer advanced products and services that protect sensitive information for governments, defense organizations, and critical infrastructure in over half of the EU member states. We work closely together with state authorities and our solutions hold formal governmental approvals that are needed for secure communication and exchange of classified information, i.e. state secrets.

A unique opportunity to lead and expand our operations in our second home market.

We are now seeking a Managing Director for our local subsidiary in the Netherlands, Sectra Communications BV, to lead and develop our Dutch operations—a role that combines strategic responsibility, operational leadership, and international collaboration.

About the role

As Managing Director of Sectra Communications BV, you will lead our Dutch subsidiary, ensuring strategic growth, operational excellence, and strong customer relationships. That also includes leading the daily work at our office in the Hague, develop and grow the high-performing local team and ensure that our products and services are delivered with quality, security, and precision on the local market. You will be part of the Sectra Communications management team and play a key role in expanding our presence in the Netherlands and across Europe.

Your responsibilities include:

• Drive business growth and strengthen Sectra’s market position in the Netherlands.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team across sales, customer support, product management, and development, ensuring alignment with Sectra's strategy, values, and culture.
• Build strong relationships with government authorities and key stakeholders.
• Ensure operational efficiency, financial performance, and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with teams across Sweden and Europe to align strategies and optimize business opportunities.

• Have a higher education background, preferably with experience from a relevant industry segment.
• Has experience from an international context.
• Has an interest in and overall understanding of technology.
• Understands the importance of security and integrity in handling classified information.
• Can navigate an international business environment and collaborate across markets.

Due to the nature of our work with classified information, Dutch citizenship is a mandatory requirement.
