Your role as Senior Service Now Engineer

We are looking for a senior service now engineer to join our IT team and oversee the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of our ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for leading a team of service now engineers and developers, ensuring the platform meets the business needs and aligns with the ITIL best practices. You will also be responsible for managing the platform’s performance, security, and compliance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of ServiceNow solutions across various modules and applications.
  • Manage the platform’s configuration, customization, integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Monitor the platform’s health, usage, and overall compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and incidents related to the platform.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the service now administrators and developers.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and partners to ensure the platform’s alignment with the business objectives and requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, manuals, policies, and processes.

This is you

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with ServiceNow administration and development.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Web Services, and other web technologies.
  • Experience with ITIL processes and ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Request Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Discovery, etc.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and project management tools.
  • Experience with cloud computing concepts and Software as a Service architecture.
  • Certification in ServiceNow Administrator or Developer is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
