As a Technical Architect working for Data Ecosystems within TNO you’ll be part of orchestrating complex, sustainable collaborations through secure and carefree data exchanges, leading to breakthroughs in various markets. Our Data Ecosystems (DE) department has top experts and international leaders in areas such as Data Spaces and semantics.

 

What will be your role?

Together with your tightly knit team you’ll play a key role in the design, creation and subsequent implementation of reference architectures and policies for secure data sharing. You translate the specific aspects needed for data sharing and the creation of data-based services into IT solutions. In doing so, you connect people and organizations.

 

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements you’ll help translating them into technical specifications.
  • Designing and developing data architecture solutions.
  • Ensuring that all relevant requirements around security and privacy regulations are met and adhered to.
  • Evaluating and recommending emerging technologies, methodologies besides making sure that improvement ideas are discussed and implemented as seen fit.

What we expect from you

  • A completed MSc. degree in Computer Science, Information Management or a closely related field.
  • Substantial experience within Data Architecture besides familiarity with Data Spaces.
  • Intimate knowledge of GDPR and other, relevant regulations regarding data sharing, data security and privacy.
  • Familiarity with relevant AI concepts, encryption, semantics, data sovereignty and federative systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • A dynamic and proactive attitude. You think in solutions and are able to clearly formulate and share your ideas with non-technical people as well.

The selection process

Please apply before the 29th of February, 2024. The selection process comprises two interview rounds. In a final meeting we will discuss the terms of employment and your tailored benefits package. We aim to finalize the entire process within four weeks.

The selection process may include a screening, an online assessment and a reference check.
