High-Tech IT Lab Opened in The Hague

On 4 October, The Royal Netherlands Society of Engineers (KIVI) opened the KIVI-0070Lab in the Hague. The high-tech IT lab brings together businesses and higher education institutes and is focused on enhancing the human capital agenda in the areas of big data and cyber security.


The KIVI-0070Lab is a cooperation between KIVI, the City of the Hague, large IT businesses, startups and higher education institutes. The cooperation makes experimenting possible financially but also through equipment and manpower. The lab will be equipped with high-tech computers and futuristic gadgets. With the lab, KIVI aims to create an inspiring surrounding for innovation, testing, learning, sharing knowledge and connecting involved parties that are active on big data and cyber security topics.

 

The lab in cooperation with: City of The Hague, IBM, Dell, Vodafone-Ziggo, Snow, Cisco, Milvum, TU Delft and the Hague University of Applied Science and more.


KIVI is a professional association of engineers in the Netherlands and organises lectures, debates, symposia and other initiatives.
