About the job

Based in The Hague, The Netherlands you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will be responsible for developing business cases, strategies, and implementation plans related to the modernisation and transformation of NATO’s cryptographic capabilities.

Based on the proven relevant experience the selected candidate will be offered the post at A2 (Scientist) or A3 (Senior Scientist) level, basic salary ranging from 5966.30 euro per month to 7360.49 euro per month. The relevant years of experience will be assessed through the selection process.

About you

We’re looking for a talented and knowledgeable Cyber Security Expert (Scientist) professional with ideally a Master of Science (MSc) degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years of experience. Or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related subject with 4 years post related experience.

A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.

You will also have experience in:

• Cryptographic technologies including key management;
• Design and implementation of cyber security capabilities in an operational environment;
• Assessment of the security state of cyber security capabilities, including risk management.

Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential and some knowledge of French is desirable.
