DevOps Engineer

Your role as DevOps Engineer
It is your job as a DevOps Engineer to build, develop and maintain scalable, safe and reliable systems. You are a connector with the ability to work in the middle of our Developers and Operations. Your daily tasks are:

• Select, setup and expand infrastructure and tools
• Respond to, research and analyse incidents
• Create performance analyses, and create and implement improvements proposals
• Monitor system performance and efficiency (Golden signals)
• Track and manage risk
• Automate tasks that require manual work
• Build and support automated services, tools and test environments
• Adjust and expand systems based on growing number of users, transactions and changing requirements

Requirements

Hard skills

• Minimum: A Bachelor’s Degree
• Hands-on experience with our tech stack (or similar)
• A background in Software Development or good knowledge/understanding of it
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as code
• Strong troubleshooting skills

Soft skills

• Able to prioritize and analyze
• Understands the need of security
• Proactive mindset and critical thinker
• Connector, strong communicator

Job details

Location: Utrecht region
Tech stack: Ubuntu – AWS – Kubernetes – Terraform – Ansible – Jenkins
Start date: Preferably the 1^st of September
Salary: Above average
