What we offer

What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage a cross-functional team of engineers across backend and frontend domains.
- Act as a hands-on coach and mentor, helping junior and mid-level engineers grow in their careers.
- Drive technical vision, system design, and implementation across the stack.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals.
- Implement and uphold engineering best practices including security by design, code quality, test automation, CI/CD, and performance monitoring.
- Support architectural decisions related to APIs, cloud infrastructure, data handling, and AI integration.
- Facilitate agile processes, sprint planning, and team retrospectives.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between frontend and backend teams for cohesive product delivery.
What You'll Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2+ years in an engineering leadership or management role.
- Full-stack technical proficiency, with deep understanding of both backend (Python, microservices, Golang, Rust, AWS) and frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frameworks like React).
- Proven track record of leading and growing engineering teams, especially in smaller, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, and communication skills — you're someone who brings out the best in others.
- Strong architectural and systems design experience, especially around scalable APIs and cloud-native applications.
- Comfortable with modern development practices including version control, code reviews, continuous integration, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience working with AI-powered systems or integrating AI/ML into products is a plus.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a startup or high-growth tech company.
- Familiarity with data mesh, data pipelines, and distributed data systems.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms).
- Background in building and scaling remote engineering teams.
- Background in building data products.
