Information Development Co., Ltd. is hiring!

We are looking for people with a combination of Japanese and IT skills and who are interested in joining our growing team of IT specialists. We offer a diverse and stimulating environment in which you can utilize your intercultural skills and be encouraged to learn new things every day. 9% of the employees are foreign nationals from countries such as Sweden, Russia, The Netherlands, Latvia, America, Taiwan, China, Myanmar, etc. Partly thanks to this diversity, ID has a very easy-going and supportive environment and work culture and offers many welfare benefits. (Visa sponsorship, corporate housing, reimbursement for moving costs, etc.)

Headquartered in Tokyo, ID works with many of Japan’s largest corporations by providing extensive IT support, from system operation management to developing software and platforms tailored to customers’ needs. We are a complete one-stop IT services company where everything happens from consulting to BPO. We focus on developing customized software, distributing cybersecurity solutions, etc. When you enter ID your tasks may vary from meeting with clients across a wide variety of fields to provide the latest technology solutions, such as smart glasses, to developing software from design to final product. And to help new hires learn the ropes, we provide pre-employment and on-the-job training. Here at ID, you can build your career in Japan, and even get opportunities to transfer globally within our group companies overseas.

Requirements

Hard Skills
- Japanese work proficiency (JLPT N2 level is preferred)
- Any background knowledge of IT
- Any experience with programming languages (ie. Java(script), Python, C, etc.)

- Knowledge of IT infrastructure

Soft Skills
- Ability to think quickly

- Adaptability and flexibility to work independently and in (global) teams

- Good communication and feedback skills

You might be confused as to what the job exactly entails, but in Japanese companies you rather join a company instead of filling a specific position. Based on your skillset, preference and performance during the pre- and on-the-job training, ID will place you in the environment where you can utilize your skills best. To give you an idea, here are some of the positions:

- Programmer
- System engineer

- Security engineer

- Network engineer
- Sales engineer, etc.

If you feel you’re the perfect fit for the job described above, send your CV and motivation letter (Japanese) to (global-recruitment@idnet.co.jp). Or if you have any burning questions, feel free to contact me, or take a look at the link above.
