We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer who will contribute in the development of enterprise content services at ING.

We are team of IT professionals who strive to deliver, maintain and support the global content services of ING. We are part of Tech Group Services and help the bank with Enterprise Content Repositories, Retention Management, Content Search, Content Extraction & Classification, Content Generation, eSignatures and much more.          

 

Who you are

You are a highly motivated engineer who likes to work in a multidisciplinary team of engineers.  You are technically passionate, solution-focused and able to contribute to design, development, test automation and hardening (security, stability, deployment) of  our services. Next to your work in the squad, you also like to contribute to the mastery of other engineers and improve the way of work within ING.

 

Your profile

  • Experience with Automation in a cloud based environment.

  • Experience with AzureDevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with Security Event Monitoring, High Availability Patterns, Change Management, Incident Management.

  • Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment.

  • Experience with git, ICHP,  Linux Redhat skills (yum, bash etc.) and Ansible.

  • Exposure to Networking technologies such as routers, VPN’s, load balancers and firewalls.

  • Exposure of Virtualization / Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.

  • Familiarity with Infra as Code.

  • Understanding of Agile way of working.

  • Excellent spoken English.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Strong Team Player and Experience in working with teams in and across sites.

Your role:

  • Build and maintain our infrastructure to ensure security, scalability and high-availability while maximizing development team efficiency.

  • Make sure that the services stay safe and compliant by working on Risk related controls such as Security Monitoring, Identity and Access Management, Change Management, Platform Security and more.

  • Perform automated deployments to create new or update existing production/staging environments

  • Provide insights into scalability and maintenance to developers

  • Be curious to investigate new technologies and design future-proof solutions.
