RedSocks is looking for an intern, interested in conducting a research project for our organization. RedSocks is a young and dynamic company in the IT-security market. Headquartered in The Hague, The Netherlands, we operate in a versatile market and are in the process of expanding our company internationally. We have an informal and flexible working environment in a start-up culture, with not yet fully crystallized processes.

We are looking for a motivated student that has the ambition to be among the very best in IT Security. You are currently studying in a college (HBO) or university, studying technical informatics or ICT and you are at the point of graduation and you are already orientating.

RedSocks specifically developed RedSocks malware threat defender as an addition to already existing corporate network security in order to offer companies protection against current and next generation malware. At the same time this appliance protects you from data leakage that may occur as a result of using cloud services outside your regular data traffic. Increasingly, regular security measures such as anti-virus software and firewalls prove to be insufficient protection against malware. Unfortunately, existing security facilities do not always give the alert when malware finds its way into your company. Due to the fast increase of types and varieties of malware, there is an explosive growth in the number of threats. In addition, malicious parties do not sit around doing nothing and data espionage is an everyday reality.
