Inverid (since November the new name of InnoValor) is the market leader in NFC technology for mobile identity verification. Companies and governments worldwide use our ReadID software to verify identities remotely and reduce identity fraud. In doing so, we make life easier and more secure. Customers include banks like ING, Rabobank and ASB Bank (New-Zealand), government agencies like UK Home Office and the Danish Digital Agency, and digital online/signature services from itsme, SK ID Solutions and Digidentity.

Inverid is growing rapidly and is entering a new phase in its development, with the opening of international development and sales centres, and the expansion of all development teams. We were the winner of the FD Gouden Gazelle (medium-sized companies) for the fastest-growing company in the Eastern Netherlands and are among the 250 fastest-growing scale-ups in the Netherlands. We are based in the Netherlands (Enschede), with offices in London and Valencia. We currently have 50 employees with 12 different nationalities. The working language within Inverid is English.

 

Your Job

  • Develop our ReadID SaaS server with security and scalability in mind
  • Contribute to the roadmap for ReadID, including adding new features and integrating with partners that provide complementary software products, e.g. facial recognition
  • Help developers working for our customers to best use the ReadID API, especially the server-side APIs (REST, XML, JSON)
  • Write API documentation for our customers
  • Contribute to our automated testing
  • Optionally contribute to our big-data analysis of our logging (ReadID Analytics)
  • Optionally become part of our DevOps/CloudOps approach
  • Work with and for customers from all over the world

Who are you?

  • You have an university (MSc) or applied university/college (HBO/BSc) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Security or similar
  • You can speak and wright English
  • You have a solid Java server development background
  • You have experience with Java EE, Spring, REST, XML, JSON
  • You have experience with continuous integration, e.g., Jenkins
  • You have experience with DevOps is appreciated
  • Preferably you have experience with JavaScript, CSS, OWASP, Angular
  • You are security minded
  • You currently live in Spain, close to, or in Valencia or are willing to relocate here. You work at least 2 days a week at the office in Valencia. 

As a Java Server Developer you will be joining our multinational highly skilled team of developers that cover various disciplines and technologies. Although each developer brings his or her own perspectives and specialties, we consider development a joint effort. We belief that close cooperation is the key to a high quality product offering. Our developers take pride in contributing to a product offering with impact on society. Cooperation is facilitated by our friendly working environment and flat and informal local based structure. Ideas for solutions are brought to the table by everyone and jointly discussed and explored. Furthermore, we have a very diverse and multinational customer base with their specific (technological) challenges, hence never a dull moment.

Note that next to Java Backend Developers, we are also hiring iOS Developers and Android Developers. We don’t apply strict role boundaries, but fit roles and activities to personal skills and competences. A mixed function profile combining more roles is certainly an option.
