What impact will you make?

As a Manager Cyber Strategy Assessments you are part of the Cyber Strategy team. You are interested in solving complex problems by performing assessments, distilling key insights, finding root-causes and presenting a way forward to board or executive level stakeholders, often in the form of roadmap. You have a strong all-round knowledge on security and are able to bridge the gaps between security and business at the client.

 

This is how

  • managing diverse (assessment) teams effectively on client engagements and helping individuals develop their security assessments knowledge and careers at Deloitte as a role-model;
  • managing multiple assessments or other strategy engagements and work collaboratively with other experts within Deloitte;
  • facilitating workshops at the client (e.g. to determine ambition, target-state or the threat landscape);
  • presenting to executive or board level stakeholders on key challenges and solutions;
  • performing quality control of deliverables to the client, maintaining the outstanding quality of work that is expected from Deloitte;
  • monitoring projects with regards to people, financial and project management, develop new business (assessments) propositions or leverage new technology/innovations with support from other leaders within Cyber Strategy;
  • building and maintaining strong long-term relationships with various stakeholders across client organizations, market suppliers and knowledge groups.

What you offer

You have a passion for cyber and the broader business and digital context. You are technical, analytical, independent, critical and result-oriented. For the role of Manager Cyber Strategy Assessments, you also have:

  • at least five years of experience in cyber / information security management and assessments;
  • a university degree in Computer Science, Security and Network engineering, Technical Business Administration, Informatica, Business & ICT, Security Management or other related discipline;
  • known your way around best practices and industry standards related to cyber security (ISO, NIST, CIS, etc.) and having security related certifications (e.g. CISM, CISA, CISSP, etc.) is a pre;
  • experience with being a team player with the ability to take charge of your area of expertise and coordinate with other teams and instances;
  • the motivation to take a leading role in further building our strategy assessment capabilities;
  • an enterprising personality and good communication skills;
  • an excellent command of written and spoken English.

You share your expertise with about 60 other colleagues in the Cyber Strategy team that is part of Deloitte Risk Advisory. Our team helps clients develop (transformation) programs in the field of cyber security and get to grips with the cyber risks. We advise on how best to organize cyber security in an organization and help implement our advice to our customers.
