We are looking for a senior Python/Django developer to join our team and help build Darktrace PREVENT / Attack Surface Management and its related services which Darktrace develops. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the backend of our web application, as well as mentoring other developers and collaborating with stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectations of 2 days a week in The Hague office.
Design, develop, and test scalable and modular code using Python and Django
Implement automated testing and code-quality checks using tools such as pytest, flake8, and black
Document code using docstrings and design documents
Translate development tasks from functional specifications to technical designs
Use Git for version control and dependency management
Perform code-reviews and provide feedback to other developers
Mentor junior developers and share best practices
Work independently and in teams using agile methodologies
Communicate effectively with stakeholders
