Solution Architect

You developing day – to – day relationships with our key customers/partners and seek to understand challenges, pain points, goals, and criteria for a successful solution. In addition you prepare and conduct discovery workshops, discussions, and value-based use case demonstrations along with the team for prospects, customers, and partners.
 

Making a difference by

• Connecting both worlds of the application architecture and software development
• Translating business requirements into a technical design that fits into the (enterprise) architecture.
• Understanding the different techniques used within IT Rabobank, such as Java, Services, Databases, Security, Networking and Monitoring.
• Supporting teams and stakeholders to control progress on the software development process.
• Taking responsibility for the quality of the technical design and realized solutions.

You are working on compliance monitoring topics within a dynamic department, with all sorts of developments in the spotlight. This dynamics is characterized by a wide variety of issues and challenges alternating in rapid succession. Together with (lead) business analysts you produce products like 'reference architecture compliance' and high level solutions. In-depth knowledge concerning monitoring and payments is necessary.

As part of our Detection teams you make it your daily priority to make sure our monitoring applications run smoothly in order to prevent damages caused by fraudulent transactions. Rabobank must also remain compliant according to  new regulations on compliance themes. With you as a Solution Architect the team will consist of 43 colleagues.

With you  

Customer focus, leadership, conceptual thinker, analytical skills, result driven and cooperation are clearly essential for the role of Solution Architect. In addition, it's important that you recognize everything in the checklist below

• Completed HBO- or WO-equivalent education
• At least 1-3 years of experience in similar function (IT architect or information mgr)
• Relevant experience with Agile/SCRUM and DevOps in the IT sector
• Experience with the IT-landscape in the financial sector
• Proven experience in IT-architecture and improving continuity of IT-services
• Practical experience with architecture methods and techniques (e.g. Archimate, DYA, TOGAF)
• Knowledge/experience with cloud, databases, security principles, interface concepts, risk management concepts, development- & test methods
• Preferably experienced in CI/CD (with GIT, Ansible and/or Azure DevOps)  
• Good command of English (business level)
