We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Leiden, Netherlands.
As a Technical Lead, you will join a collaborative team of skilled professionals contributing to the final stages of the PASAAS project, an initiative at the intersection of advanced technology and national defense. In this role, you will help develop data-driven applications that support critical decisions in a forward-thinking environment. In addition to this we have a variety of projects for the European Space Agency that will also require your technical insights and skills.
The scope of work will include:
Leading the technical development and implementation of the various data driven systems, including but not limited to applications that support Model Based System Engineering.
Overseeing the architectural design and development of the system, making strategic decisions to optimize performance, scalability, and data integrity.
Providing senior guidance to the technical team on the delivery of complex multi-disciplinary system engineering projects with security aspects.
Keeping the complete picture of the system, paying special attention on the successful integration of each of the subsystems.
Performing trade-offs of different architectures according to customer requirements.
Performing system requirements elicitation from defined use-cases and/or user requirements.
Partitioning and apportioning the overall system requirements into the various system components.
