VP of Marketing

EclecticIQ is a high-growth security scale-up that intends to enable all cybersecurity practices with threat intelligence. To further increase our strategic leadership, grow our revenues, shape our people, process and structure, we are looking today for our VP of Marketing.

A key executive, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer,  CEO or similar executive, the VP of Marketing owns all our marketing and go to market initiatives and is accountable for their outcomes.

Our VP of Marketing is a market specialist with true product depth. This mix makes him/her a natural-born strategist capable of understanding markets and buying patterns from a limited number of reference points. Combining market insight and foresight with analytical data gathered from our systems and teams, our VP of Marketing will materialize our strategy into actual revenue targets, market tactics and an operating model for the team.

Responsibilities

• Being our market champion: effectively driving marketing’s key initiatives
• Building and leading a team of <10 professionals: providing valuable coaching and training while doing so
• Go to market: characterizing markets, segments, buying motions and informing our sales, marketing and product strategies accordingly
• Messaging: ensuring we maintain a compelling story that sticks to our value proposition and speak to the mind of our customers’ personae
• Product marketing: enabling our sales and channel team with substantial product-related content and providing them with recurring trainings
• Demand generation: fueling our sales funnel with quality MQLs and driving our account-targeted lead generation 
• Brand awareness: building our brand in our targeted markets, notably in North America
• Bridging: connecting marketing with other key teams and capabilities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a marketing leadership position 
• 10+ years in the cybersecurity industry paired with extensive experience and solid understanding of the market
• Cyber Threat Intelligence experience is a plus
• Incident Response experience is a pre
• Empowering management style
• Analytical, logical approach, complemented with highly strategic thinking
• Superior ability to communicate and convince both internally and externally
• Full English proficiency
• Product Management experience is an advantage
• Being comfortable and professional in a highly client facing role
• Ability and willingness to travel both within Europe and overseas
