We offer the opportunity to put state of the art techniques into practice within the field of digital forensics at the Netherlands Forensic Institute. The department of Digital and Biometric Traces investigates seized data carriers such as mobile phones, tablets and hard drives for digital artifacts to contribute to criminal investigations of Dutch law enforcement. Your task will be to contribute to our cybercrime related investigations by researching and developing new methods for interpreting and analysing digital artifacts.

In addition to the salary, you receive a so-called individual choice budget (ICB). The ICB consists of funds (16.37% of your gross annual salary) and time. You can use the ICB to make the choices that suit your preferences and you can decide on some of your employment conditions yourself. For example, you can opt to have part of your monthly income paid out at a date of your choosing. You can also convert this budget into leave — and the other way round — or spend it on tax-friendly causes. The Government of the Netherlands strongly values personal growth and career development and offers numerous opportunities to achieve this. The fringe benefits include various study facilities, company fitness training, full reimbursement of your costs of commuting by public transport, and partially paid parental leave.
